A sextant is a traditional navigational tool. It measures the angle between two objects, such as the horizon and a celestial object such as a star or planet. This angle can then be used to calculate the ship's position on a nautical chart.
This sextant comes with a wooden box which also has 2 extra telescopes for use.
The one we have manufactured here at our premises is functional up to some extend but is not precise or accurate we would recommend is as a gift item for lovers of nautical or nautical collectors.
It sure is made beautifully and can be a point of conversation.
